The subject matter expert (SME) provides the knowledge and expertise in a specific subject, business area, or technical area for a project/program.
SPOC means "Single Point Of Contact." Refer to a single person or team within a company who are designated as the point of contact for all incoming communications.

To sum up, even though a Business Analyst?s primary role is to be a requirements owner in a project, he/she has a part to play in every type of software testing. In order to ensure that the developed system meet the business needs, Business Analyst gets involved in various testing phases to validate it. From clarifying requirements to writing test plans & test cases to even executing them and also take UAT sign-offs, business analyst has a multi-faceted role to perform in Software testing.

The traditional business analyst may go from BA to senior business analyst, to architect, to senior business architect and so on. Similarly, in an agile environment you may go from business analyst to product owner and possibly branch off to managing a team and then PMO director
