What are the roles in Scrum?
Scrum is a process framework used to manage product development work.
Scrum process include;
1.   People: It includes people like Scrum Master, Product Owner, Scrum Team, Development Team.
2.   Requirements: It includes requirements like Product Initiative, Capabilities, EPIC/Features, User Stories.
3.   Schedules: It consists of Scheduled Sprints. Generally a sprint will last for a maximum time period of two days.
4.   Ceremonies: It generally include Meetings like Sprint Planning meetings, Daily Scrum meetings, Sprint review meetings, etc.
5.   Documents: In Scrum frame work no documentation is required.

In the ideal agile world, the team would manage their own process and tooll.

The scrum master as the owner of their process. It takes time for responsibility and authority to diffuse through a team.
 
the role can be as lightweight as scheduling the scrum ceremonies or as involved as any other scrum team member.

Scrum is an agile development methodology used in the development of Software based on an iterative and incremental processes. The primary objective of Scrum is to satisfy the customer?s need through an environment of transparency in communication, collective responsibility and continuous progress.

Scrum is defined as a team focuses on building quality software. The Scrum team consists of the following roles:

Scrum Master: Scrum master manages the reduction of impediments of the project and works with the Product Owner to maximize the ROI (Return Of Investment).

Product owner (PO): Is the representative of the stakeholders and customers who use the software. They focus on the business part and is responsible for the ROI of the project. They Translate the vision of the project to the team, validate the benefits in stories to be incorporated into the Product Backlog and prioritize them on a regular basis.

Team: A group of professionals with the necessary technical knowledge who develop the project jointly carrying out the stories they commit to at the start of each sprint.

Burn down are great visual way to track the remaining work on an Scrum project. You can track a story point completed to get an indication of how your velocity is performing or effort in hours usually to see how expected completion date compares to your actual/probable one.

 
Burn up charts are used for a similar purpose, a burn up chart shows how much work has been completed, and the total amount of work. It shows the complete picture that the scope increased at the beginning of the project, and some scope was removed to finish the project by the deadline, whilst the team made steady progress through the entire duration of the project.

The three scrum roles are as follows.

Product Owner: The person with the product vision.

Scrum Master: The scrum expert who helps the team build the product according to the scrum framework.

Scrum can be implemented either at the beginning of the project or then when you sense that the project is falling behind schedule. It is an innovative approach of getting your work done. It is an iterative agile software development methodology.

Role of Business Analysts in SCRUM:

The role of Business Analysts in SCRUM is very important in the success of a project. Their involvement starts right from understanding the customer?s need to the Sprint Demo. They are the first point of contact for the technical team for clarifications. They are even more important in the initial phases of a new project and the projects which are large in scale.

The Product Owner will not always be a good writer, sometimes they come from a technical background and hence it becomes the responsibility of the Business Analyst to write the stories, acceptance, wireframes, etc.

Scrum is an iterative model which is used to manage the software project. There?s no specific project manager in this model, the team is self-directing, works on their own based on the feature list for successful project delivery.

scrum is basically a frame work to use agile methodology and to have transparent information and about the project status where the project is and how can we deliver the project in time and we can distribute the work in sprints here and it is easy to track the status of work.and scrum master manage the scrum process by allocating work and tracking the work.
